Pep Boys Manny Moe & Jack is a full-service automotive aftermarket in the United States. It's part of the automotive industry, the deals with the production, processing, distribution, retail and installation of all vehicle parts, chemicals, tools, equipment and accessories for light and heavy vehicles. The company also takes care of processes associated with the after sale of the automobile from the original equipment manufacturer to the consumer.
The Origin of the shop goes back to 1921, when Emanuel (Manny) Rosenfeld, Maurice L. (Moe), and W. Graham (Jack) Jackson opened the first store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The name of the shop was "Pep Auto Supplies Pep Valve Grinding Compound," was conducted from a product in the store "."
The change the name of "Pep Auto Supplies" to "Pep Boys 'is itself an interesting story. Once fourth policeman tells his driver, which under' the Guys at Pep. "And further down this sentence was twisted and" Pep Boys' emerged. The proportion of "Manny, Moe and Jack" was changed to the name was added after Manny and Moe was a clothes shop called "Minnie, Maude and Mabel" in California. Later in 1933 the company West Coast operations opened under the direction of Murray Rosenfeld, the brother of Manny. By 1986 the company had nearly 159 stores in the United States.
Currently, the flagship the "Pep Boys '563 branches and over 6,000 service bays in 36 states in the United States. Also, the company expanded its base in Puerto Rico. The company serves not only vehicle repairs, maintenance skills, but also the commercial auto parts delivery market is in the United States.
