Decorating kids room? (20 characters)?

were decorating my daughters room and we wondered to here your decorating stories.
1.what color should i paint or what pattern for wallpaper? also what did you color/design did you paint/wallpaper?
2.what furniture should i put in? what did you put in?
3.how big is the room your kids are sleeping in?

ps. my daughter is wildly in love with flowers.

We rent, so we couldn’t paint our son’s room, but his room theme is Harry Potter.
Since we couldn’t paint, I had to get more creative. I hung banners of the 4 hogwarts houses over his bed at an angle, I got a broom and hun some golden snitches on it from the ceiling. I spent a bundle on a rotating castle bookcase for him, as well as the Weasley clock with the many hands, and a tri wizard cup lamp. I plastered his ceiling and the the top part of his walls with glow in the dark stars.
He of course has a bed, dresser, changer, and toybox, but we also put in a small table, the castle bookcase, and a full sized recliner chair, that is his to keep when he grows up. He also has a small table and chairs, that he doesn’t use yet, but he definately will when he gets a little older.
For your daughter’s room, why not hang garlands of flowers and leaves on teh ceiling over her bed? And the Levels of Discovery series does have a girl version of the castle bookcase my son has, but pink with lots of flowers on it. It costs a bundle though.
Also, look up for vinyl wall murals of gardens.
